Recap of Honda & Hounds Ohio 2023

Another Honda & Hounds Ohio is in the books and what a Sunday! Mother Nature fooled us around 10 am by blowing in grey cool clouds and we all worried about rain! She was such a kidder and the clouds made way for blue skies and puffy white clouds which perfectly suited everyone.

The setup went well and we had plenty of space in the small dog park for the rescues to keep their fur babies cool while attendees utilized the walking paths to meet and greet the groups. The rescues and vendors outdid themselves with the sweet cats and dogs and attendees had many shopping options (bandanas, pottery, wooden signs, collars & leashes, t-shirts with their kids and fur babies faces by Custom Express Prints).

The dog wash station was super popular and the volunteers from Marysville High School kept up with the pace of pooches and may or may not have sprayed a few of their pals instead of the dogs! The students help was very much appreciated by the OPC team and we welcome their enthusiastic energy every year! Thank Ms. Sherri

The HFCU team estimated attendance around 800+. The vendors were very appreciative, and made some really good connections.
